TC40,
I would like to add a Quick attach plate and Quick attach pallet forks to my 2003 TC40. I quess I should have done this when I purchased but did not think i needed it at the time! Big Whoops I could really use it this year when I start construction of my garage/retaining wall. Anybody no what this would cost plus were to find aftermarket items? I have a 16 LA loader and this is not even made anymore.

I just had it done with a universal skid steer quick attach. Was about $700.00 installed.
I had a quick attach plate attached to my current bucket and they torched off the existing bucket attachments.

Money WELL- VERY WELL spent.

I think if you buy the QA adapter and plate and make the modifications to your own bucket, you can save about $250 over Kendall69's cost. That's if you already have the torch and welding skills, of course. Otherwise, $700 is a very good price for the conversion.

But is there an aftermarket dealer for this type of setup. My Newholland dealer said aproximately $550 for attachement, $145 for plate for bucket, and about $650 for a set of 2000 pound pallet forks. This is aproximate because he could not find it listed. The only thing he can find a new listing for is the new model loaders. I could really use some help on this as I hope to start a garage this year.

The order reference number for the 16LA QA plate is 716653056. If your dealer can't find that, I think I'd look at another dealer. New Holland is replacing its loader, not abandoning the 16LA. That plate sold for $357 about two years ago. I think $550 is a little on the high side. You can buy the plate that welds to the bucket from many sources. They are sold on ebay regularly, about $100 plus shipping.
