Hi All, I am totally new to working on tractors and diesel engines. So, I have a few questions.
Antifreeze, I have read alot on different types of antifreeze, so I called the dealer and the parts guy said to just use the regular green antifreeze. I guess the antifreeze for diesel engines isn't needed? No cavitation? And when I fill the radiator, is there any bleeding of air involve?, or just fill the rad and run it? I'm a car guy, and cars can be either way.
For oil I used rotella 15w 40 for diesel engines.
And I am planning on changing the tranny and front diff fluid which I guess is the same fluid.
If there's any simple common mistakes people make that can cause damage, please let me know. The last guy had truck tires on the front, so I just ordered the correct size so the 4wd doesn't bind up.
Thanks for any help!
