I used my 1510D to disk my pasture, then I went over it with my drag harrow, tines up. I'm instructed to plant my Pensacola Bahaia 1/2" to 1" deep. last year I disked, seeded, and dragged. But that planted the seeds too deep and I had very poor growth. This time I dragged first, but I haven't seeded yet. I'm waiting to hear how I'gonna get those seeds 1/2" to 1" deep! Any suggestions?

I have always found grass seed to work best when just pushed into the loose dirt, (1/8-1/4"), either walked in, drive over it, preferrably with turf tires, or best with a roller.

I've got rice tires, but I guess I could use my old Cub Cadet for the seeding and rolling, eh?

I've rolled pen. bahia with a sod roller, or drug a 2x4 behing my tractor.. that way they don't get too deep.
