Is the JD LT150 any better than the Home Depot models? I am talking about transmission ,frame ect.. A dealer in my area has a few leftover models. Curious?

I have an LT150 that I bought a few years ago. I do not know if it is a better tractor than the new "L" Series but I know I haven't had any problems with mine and it cuts fine. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yes, it is better than the L/100 series. Open up the hoods on both and take a look where the steering column goes through the dash. The LT"s have a metal brace that can be trace back to the frame. On the L/100 series, are you have is plastic, just like the MTDs, Murrays and Craftsman. In fact, the frame on the LT line is stronger and heavier than the L/100 series.
