Question about Pat's Easy Change system

Question about Pat\'s Easy Change system

Can anyone tell me how many of the thingies that go on the ends of the lower link pins will be included with the purchase of the system? I seem to have read it somewhere but can't find it now. Like everyone else here I have about six different implements and will need to order extra thingies if there are not enough included.

With Pat's system, you only add the two locking mechanisms to the ends of the lift arms. You do not have to add anything to the implements. The lift pins on the implements then just click into the Pat's system. John

KiotiJohn, I think he was asking about those bent washer thingies? I think I got 8 of them when I got my Pat's system, but I would just ask for some extras when I ordered, they can't cost much more than a 25-cents a piece?

Oh, okay. I thought maybe he thought he had to add receivers to all the implements. I had not even thought of those bent washers. I don't think I received 8 but I don't remember. I was wondering if there is another source for those, but haven't pursued it yet. Thanks for the correction Bob. John

Yea, those bent washer thingies. I seen the post here before about those. I spent alot of seat time today discing a field for cool season grasses and had plenty of time to think about this quick hitch. Everyone seems to be happy with it and at the very least it helps with the hassle of getting the lower link pins on the 3ph.

The order page on TBN website doesn't give the option of accessories. Did you guys order direct from Pat's?

I ordered mine through TBN, but it can be ordered from Northern Tool and other places. Here's Pat's web address so you can read all about it on his site:

Just give Pat or Jerry a call or e-mail, they may be able to send some extra washers, probably for a nominal fee.

I checked out the specifications on Pat's site, and my question is, why would you need extra bent washers? Are they not part of the "permanent" installation onto the lift arms? I know there has to be an explanation, but having never used it or seen it in person, I am at a loss.

It's a lot easier if you can just leave them on the implement pins. So, of I had a set for every implement, no changing of the washers to the back blade, to the box blade, to the carry-all.......etc.
