A few weeks ago I built a carry-all project for my CK30 that came out nice. I posted this build in the "Build it yourself" section and after putting it to use, I began to wonder how I would go about modifying it so that it would dump. Right now, as I raise and lower the 3 pt, it will basically go straight up and down. My Brother in law suggested that I could mount a double action cylinder in place of the top link that would allow the carry-all to dump.
Can I tap into one of my backhoe lines that are right above the top link? How would I go about doing this?
Any constructive ideas are appreciated.
The carry-all worked great for moving firewood and rocks and with the drop away tailgate, it was a breeze to unload at a comfortable work height. It also provides about 400 lbs of ballast weight (empty) that helped quite a bit over the weekend when I cleaned up 18" of wet snow from our first real storm of the year!
Thanks!
