I have a BX2360 and added a Pats Quick Hitch to it a while ago. I searched the forum and many people spoke about a toplink from TSC but also said it was not very good. I would like to purchase a good toplink that fits and works as it should. Any first hand knowledge of one would be appreciated!

Tags as I dont have an answer for the longer toplink for the BX. I've been looking for a longer one too. I added Pats 2 years ago but still the stock toplink works. Ive read their isnt 1 and if bought a longer toplink, it needs to be ground down, too wide. We have TSC, Big R and Farm n Fleet. They are relativley cheap and probably buy 1 from there and modify.

A toplink is a toplink. It has a very simple job to do and just about any brand or type will work. Expensive does not make it better. Many, many folks use an inexpensive toplink with no problems.

The worst issue is if it bends. But usually that is operator error. Then just buy another inexpensive one and don't repeat the error.

If you want to spend a lot of money and get your money's worth...buy a hydraulic top link. My opinion.

I had the Pats' on my L2250 and now on my L3901. As a result, I needed to get the extended top link as a couple implements required it. I picked up the one at TSC and have been using it without issue for years. In fact, I found it to operate a bit smoother that the OEM top link on my L2250.

BTW, how do you like your Pats?

When my tractor was delivered last fall the box blade was on it. The first thing I noticed was the short top link. I took the new one off and put the one from TSC bought about 20 years ago on. I don't like running anything almost to the end of the threads. The Kubota klink is nice because of the grease fittings but the adjustment to turn ot could use a lot of improvement

I own a BX22 and a B7300. When I need a longer toplink for the BX I just swap out with the B73.

I bought a TSC top link for my B7500 when I installed the Pat's on it a couple years ago. It works fine.

Thanks for all the replies. I don't really use the three point heavily anyway so it sounds like the TSC one will do just fine. I really need it when I put the York rake on to dress the driveway after winter.

Deerslayer, I like it, but I don't change three point stuff a lot, but when I do the Pats hitch is handy. I mostly switch between a leaf blower and weight box, but also use a core airater along with the York rake a couple times a year.

Agree on all counts. I use an hydraulic top link all the time on a larger (81hp) tractor with a 7ft bush hog and especially anytime I am using the box scraper. The hyd top link makes the difference between the box scraper being an utter pain in the butt versus being useful. However, these smaller tractors like a BX2360 don't come with any remotes & by the time you add a remote and the hyd top link it would be going too far for most people I think. I've had no problem with 3rd party top links. Just doesn't seem to be much of a selection in lengths for a given Class.
