Have 2006 CK 30 Hydrastat (400 hrs) with dealer installed 2 remote behind seat. Noticed very small oil patch on garage floor after blowing snow last winter but could never find leak. Just hooked Kioti back hoe up yesterday and found leak to be at the top fixed pipe to adapter that joins pipe to the QD. Tried to tighten it about 6 times, and is better but if you run tractor with pump running just above idle will still leave a trace of oil on fingers. Disconnected fixed pipe and removed male adapter and QD. Leak is not coming from QD, but right where pipe joins adapter. Looked at both ends under magnifying glass (old guy) but can not see any abnormal marks. Any body know how to identify this adapter as to type, or is it a universal adapter common to ag tractors? Dealer is 1 1/2 hours away, but have hydraulic hose chap in town if I can tell him exactly what I want. Has any one else had trouble with his particular adapter? I assume that replacing this adapter will rectify leak, otherwise I would have to replace pipe as well. Thx for your help.
