Price Check Purchase price on BX2230 & attachments

I've been lurking around TBN for 4 or 5 months now and am about to buy my first tractor (sub). I have tried to gather as much info. from all the members here pertaining to the sub-compacts on the market and have narrowed it down to the BX2230 $8367, w/FEL $2359 , Landpride FDR 1660 RFM $1434, Mohawk 4' cutter $795, and an Armstrong 4' box blade $330 . Does this seem pretty reasonable?

Welcome out of the shadows. Not sure on your prices since when I was looking over a three state area the price differences were out of this world. I was in a much different situation however being able to buy from about anywhere. You wont be unhappy with the purchase. It was luv at first site of the orange forme.

Welcome Keith,

You might find something for slightly less if you look around. I like the 42" GearMore because it's the same width as the tractor and fits between trees more easily. Conversely, if you're just cutting hay (no saplings & such) in an open field, you could go with something wider but light duty, 5', maybe more.
