Purchase of TC45D

I just purchased a 2002 TC 45D with a 16LR Loader and a mower. The tractor has 39 hrs on it and is in showroom condition. I paid 16,500 for it. I believe I got a good deal. Am I wrong?

A New Holland dealer in Longmont CO had a 2003 TC45D in excelent condition with 250 hours or so on it and a 16LA loader with SSL adapter. No mower. No other attachments.

And the asking price? $21,000!

Back in 2003, I priced out a new TC45D with 16LA FEL for around $25,000.

As jinman says, you need to be arrested for larceny. Maybe even grand larceny! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

You definitely got a heck of a deal on that tractor. Absolutely NO buyer's remorse there! I'll bet the seller has lots of seller's remorse though. Especially if they were to know just how low they sold the tractor for.

Thanks for the positive responses. I figured it was a good deal but being my first Tractor just wanted to get an informed opinion. I bought it of a guy so maybe that was why it was such a good deal. No buyers remorse here and if I ever want to sell it....I'll let you know but don't hold your breath /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Now that you have a tractor, don't be a stranger. The guys here are very knowledgeable and helpful and would just love to help you spend more money on attachments and such.

I bought my first tractor about four months ago; did lots of looking, reasearch, talking/asking and more looking - never saw anything close to that or it'd be in my yard right now! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks again, for all the positive info. Now I am looking for a Lawn Tractor for the tighter spots around my place. Been looking at John D. but not sure what size to get. I've been told go to small and you'll burn them up. I'd estimate I have a 2-3 acres of tight area to mow.
Any suggestions????
