NO.. draft control keeps the 3pt at a level based on the draft / pull of the implement.. it could care less about the DEPTH of the implement.

if you nose the tractor up so the plow plunges, the draft goes UP as the plow digs deeper.. the draft control would lift the plow till it was at a depth that satisfied YOUR draft setting sensitivity ( place the hytrol was at ).. if you nosed down, the plow would start lifting out of the ground.. drafdt would drop off, and the draft control would drop the plow till it encountered an amount of pull as to what you set.

there is no realative comparison of depth and draft unless you are going thru uniform soil at a uniform speed... that's when you have a depth to drat corelation...
