My latest project was to build a tree saw out of an old discarded brush cutter.
We may later add a hydraulic tree pusher, if we find we need it. Till then, if we have any doubts about how it will fall, we just fall it with a chain saw, then cut the stump off at or below ground level.
It will cut up to 19" in a single pass.
Together with my homemade grapple, I can get some serious work accomplished.
