Finally bit the bullet and picked up an old Yanmar PTO splitter. Used forks as the attach point. Had a steel pallet fabricated and welded it to the splitter which is secured to forks with a hitch pin. Works great. No auto return so when ram is fully extended the Hyd pump strains. Never have to fully extend so don't see that as being a problem. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
