Pto problems

I have a Ford 7000 with pto problems. It works fine for a while but after it warms up as you are using the pto it will just shut off. It also sometimes takes a while for the pto to engage when you first start it. You must have the rpms high for it to start. There seems to be less of a problem when the dual power is in low. I have changed the hyd filter and made sure the fluid level is ok. Any ideas?

Sounds like a hydraulic pump may be going out. Ken Sweet

i'd be testing pressure at the control valve.
