pto lever on IH 560 broken

Hi, The PTO lever, which hooks onto the shaft which goes into the rear end of the tractor, has broken. It is a very poor design, and not made new anymore. Is my only option a bone-yard, or is there somewhere I can get a custom made one which would be sturdier. The problem with the design is the slot for the half-moon key leaves a very thin area on the on the lever.

Konkedh, if you can remove the lever, I would recommend a good machine shop...it can be repaired and reinforced to be stronger than before. Cost shouldn't be prohibitive, and the end job would be stronger than a replacement part from the boneyard....just an observation.
