PTO hp BX2230 vs B7510 HSD

Am I correct in reading that the BX has slightly more PTO hp than the B7510HSD? Are there chippers available for these two tractors that will work with a PTO of this hp? Looking for something that can handle up to 3 inches.

Can't commit on the chipper, but yes the BX does have 22 gross HP and the 7510 21 gross HP, however the HP is achieved at different RPM levels, the BX is rated 22 HP at a higher RPM I dont no the exact levels. Both are nice machines if ground clearance is an issue the 7510 has a definite advantage, see if the dealer will let you demo the two models at your home and get a feel for which one suits your needs better. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I am using a Bearcat 70554 on my B7500. It is rated to 5" and works fine with my 16 pto HP.
