PTO Generator outlet box problems. Help need pls

I have a bx2670 with a 15kw pto generator. (I know I can't max it out).

I am going with an interlock on my fuse panel.

Problem is finding a 60 amp outlet box for the outside of the house. I can find 30 and 50, but not 60.

The 60amp one they brought had the power cord go through the top and then travel down the outside wall.

I am looking for a 60amp that comes out the back of the box. I don't wish to see the power cord running down my wall.

I'm hoping that you can help me locate one.

Why not just punch or drill a knockout on the back and use the one you have?
Nothing magic......

OR go to your local electrical supply house and ask them to show you an "LL" or "RR"
Come out of your existing knockout and enter the wall with one of those.

I'll call an electrical supply place tomorrow. Harry.. the current one has a large hole in the top. When the wires are mounted for the bottom.. it leaves the bare wire ope at the top. Probably not the best idea for a weather proof receptacle to have a hole in the top?
I suppose I could just duck tape it lol.

You can get plugs for these knock out holes, In a pinch I've used a piece of sheet metal and glue it over the hole with silicone.

The straight blade 60amp is a 15-60 and 15-60R. In twist lock L14-60 and L14-60R. Tractor could probably run 13KW of electrical load.

Ok.. So the contractor called back this am.

Seems there is confusion.

My PTO generator has a female plug in (I haven't seen a different kind), So we would need a male cable plug in from there.

When we get to the house....to plug in.... what should the end of the cord be, and what should the receptacle be on the house?

The contractors says there is a safety concern if both ends of the cable are male.
However.. I am unable to find a 60amp male connector for the receptacle for the house box.

Is this supposed to be so difficult?

Not difficult , and don't let anybody tell you that a double ended male patch cord between the generator and what ever is legal.
Call in a pro, it is cheaper than making mistakes.
You said something about an interlock on a breaker or fuse panel? Using a Kirk key system?
How about installing a proper 200 amp transfer switch between the meter base and first fuse or breaker panel?

No they said it was illegal. So were not going that route.

I called in a master electrician. He's confident we can get it done. He just has to find the right stuff. I'm on the chat board with PLATT electrical. I'll give you an update asap. Yes using the interlock which will have a 200amp breaker of its own.
