pto clutch on 420

Howdy folks, I'm new to this site. I'm having some issues with the pto clutch on my 16 year old 420. Does anyone have experience working on these? I'm not sure if there is a clutch plate, similar to automotive that needs replacing or if the whole unit needs to be swapped out. Are they a pain to take apart? Any special tools involved?

whats it doing? I have a 420 its a horizontal shaft. It has to be adjusted using a feeler gauge so that it will pull in when you flip the switch. I don't remember what the gap should be. also make sure your safety switch is working, I guess though the
engine would die if you flipped the switch if the safety switch isn't working
