Of course they recomend giving them lots of money now. The other option would of course be to not buy their fluids when the time comes.
The Magnusen-Moss Act states that using equivelent fluids will not void your waranty.

I always get a laugh when people announce price increases as if market forces have nothing to say about that. This is common in the technology field. Whenever a vendor announces this to me I always tell them " Good, we were getting a little complacent in our sourcing efforts so now is a good time to evaluate our options". That usually changes the direction of the conversation.

"We've got to adjust our pricing due to a 10% price increase in steel"
"Ok, so that will be some like a 3-5% in piece cost?"

Odd how a they aparently have zero overhead and labor costs, and it is only matial costs that they have to pass on.......
