Well, last Friday I evolved from wannabe to BX22 owner. It's been a long wait. So far I've only managed about 6 hours, mostly mowing. After spending about 3 hours with me introducing me to the tractor & implements, he asked what I was going to do first. I had let the pasture grow for the last couple of weeks, in anticipation of the new machine, so we took off the FEL & BH. I was very impressed at how well the 60 MMM cuts, and how manuverable the BX is - - I have a lot of trees in my pasture, but I cut around them as well as with the Craftsman, only a LOT faster.
I managed to put the FEL on after mowing, and put the 3-pt hitch on so I could hitch up the box scraper. The FEL work is coming along - - I moved some gravel and also some compost from the pile to the garden area. The box scraper, on the other hand, is going to take some practice. I could do a better job leveling the gravel with the FEL than the box. I'm going to have to spend some serious learning time on that implement.
I only played with the back hoe while the dealer was here. I'll be giving it another whirl in the next few days. I can see that that will require a bit of practice too.
Can't wait to get at it.
