Production Date

I'm trying to find out the production date for a Cat #12 Motor Grader with SN 8T7118. I've exhausted all of my manuals and can't come up with it. If anyone has access to this information and wouldn't mind sharing with me it would be greatly appreciated. Jim

Found this ad for a #12 w/ serial number 8T8191, supposed to be a 1951 model. Used 1951 CATERPILLAR 12 8T Motor Grader for sale at Equipment Ready Have you tried calling a CAT dealer and having them run the number?
