I am glad I haven't yet got around to putting the snowblower on the JD 425 as we have had no plowable snow so far and it looks like spring is just around the corner. Too bad I went to the trouble of digging it out of the barn and moving it to the garage. Seems like everyone else got hit but not here. I am looking forward to SPRING

My area of the commonwealth had no measurable snow.

We had an ice storm that wreck havoc for one night. The horror stories were unreal. Major interstates shutdown for 8 hours or more.

Snow, seems like a thing of my childhood. Unfortunate I feel the days of snow in my area will be few and far between.

We had 2 ice storms too. Our white pines shed so many branches I wonder how they survive but they are huge so I guess they have been around for a long time. Ice storms cause havoc around here. The roads are like a demolition derby.

Lucky,

We got over 100 inches of snow this season. I'm still looking at 2 feet on the ground.

I just came in from pushing snowbanks back STILL

I cannot wait for spring to get here for real.

You're right about that. I'm full of
procrastination, but no snow to talk about. so I think I take this to other usages. Mowing - last summer it rain every week so I just let it grow and would get it next week, but then I put it off, saved diesel, now it's just about all decayed and the spring grasses are coming through.
All of the brush I cut and was going to pile up and burn I just left near where I cut it and it has almost all decayed. A few of the projects I told my wife I would get right on, (six months ago) I think she has forgot about. etc....;)

Hey Don,

I was reading about improving your lawn by letting it go to seed. Let me know how it worked for you.:D I see a lot of potential here. As for the projects our wives forget, why they're GOLDEN. Anyway if she forgets about it probably didn't need to be done. Waiting was the smartest thing to do.:D

No wine before it's time!

Oh yeah about that burning stuff you have to be careful. It's mighty hot work and it is real easy to take a little too much liquid refreshment and we all know how much trouble that can get you into.:D Plus there there is the constant danger of a burn getting out of hand. I can thing of several threads here about how dangerous that can be. Plus who knows if it is good for the environment. And you know the neighbors complain about the smoke. Overall you might be well advised to go back up on the porch and sit down and think about it:D Heck if your wife wants to know what the heck you are doing have her call me and I will explain to her about the importance of planning.:D Don't worry I wasn't in in any hurry... I mean I was planning my next project. :D :D :D

Well there is no doubt that you should be well rested if you are going to take on a big project.

Lawn????? Since I move to the "real country" there has been no lawn only flowers and various weeds. No park like areas here, just Texas Wild. :D

I am finding out quickly that for every project my wife forgets about she creates 3 more. How do they do that?
