Hey all,

My little garage queen (2011 CT235 with 175hrs) is getting a workout in the woods and she's not happy about it.

I *think* I ran over a stick or something, and suddenly the treadle travel got weird. It now centers way towards the reverse direction, to the point where I barely am able to get speed in reverse before the treadle bottoms out on the deck.

I don't see anything obviously wrong when I look at the linkage and the little damper/spring cylinder, but it's definitely off.

Is there any instruction on how to adjust these? I thought I saw something online a long time ago but can't seem to find anything now.

The reverse end of your pedal is bent downward where red circle indicates. Picture shows it being almost horizontal, it should have an upward arc.

No idea how or why it bent but it is.

Looks to me like somebody got excited and stomped down on the center of the pedal rather than the front or back.

Looks like either fix the bent pedal or get a new one.

Sitting right in front of me and I didn't even notice.

I think I know when it happened. I was trying to back up and the pedal was really hard pressing down. I was in brush and something probably just got hung up in there somewhere. Of course instead of inspecting it I just pressed harder. :/

this is what it should look like.

Thanks, that helps a lot!

Edit: Bent it back, works a treat!

Now just keep Yuri Geller away from your tractor.

Don't feel too bad not noticing the pedal. I looked at each of your photos 4 or 5 times and made 2 trips out to mine to compare before seeing the flat pedal angle.
Glad it wasn't too difficult to bend it back.
Now we all know, Don't Stomp on the pedal if it won't move.
