I have a snow plow attachment on my B2320 Kubota. It goes up, down, and left OK but is sluggish when I angle the blade to the right. Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks

First thing to check is to make sure that the quick connect for that function is plugged in correctly.

I believe you might be using regen, push the lever to the far right.

Thanks for your input. It doesn't make any difference when I push the control handle to the far right past the regen function. The plow still doesn't move to the right. I mounted the loader a couple days ago to confirm that it works OK with the tractor... It does. I then reattached the plow making sure that I followed the color codes that the dealer put on the hydraulic hoses from the plow. The only thing that has changed with the plow is the quick disconnects to the cylinder that makes it go right and left. I changed them when I had a hard time getting them on and off right after I bought the tractor.

Did you switch hoses to see if the problem shifts to the left cyl?

The up and down function seems to be stable. If I switch the connections for the cylinder that controls the left and right function it goes left but won't go right at all.

Remove the hoses at the work port and see if fluid will flow.

I forgot to mention that if I totally switch the hydraulic connections I can make the left and right cylinder control the up and down function and the up and down cylinder control the right and left function.

Revers the hoses and see what happens. When I cross the hoses on mine, the cylinder will move one direction but not the other.

The work ports are the ports on the valve that send fluid to the cyl.

If you have fluid coming out the work ports when the lever is operated, then the valve is good, and trouble lies elsewhere.

That is what happens to mine too. It will go to the left and not at all to the right.

I'm leaning toward removing the cylinder and turning it left and right by hand until I can get hold of a replacement cylinder.

It's good that down east Maine is having a run of rainy weather but no snow... :)

If it works with the connections "totally switched", it is not the cylinder.

The only thing that has changed with the plow is the quick disconnects to the cylinder that makes it go right and left. I changed them when I had a hard time getting them on and off right after I bought the tractor.

I think your problem is one of the quick disconnects. Can you swap them and see if the problem moves to going left?

If it's a disconnect problem I know which one it is... I'll use one off of the loader and see if that takes care of the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello! I replaced the quick disconnect for that function of the snow plow and it took care of the problem...
