Anyone here used or have a PRO_TRAK trailer?? I looked at a new 14K 25+5 GN today. Looked good overall. I was actually looking at the Load Trail GN they had but can buy this one which is 5ft longer than LT trailer for the same money...Thoughts??

I have a 27 ft. with 5 ft dovetail, tandem axle dual wheel right now. The wiring on it is horrible. I was having trouble with a brake signal to my controller so I started looking for a bad wire on the trailer. Started at the axles and noticed scotch locks everywhere! Pulled the deck off so I could rewire it and remove the scotch locks. I quit counting after 30! If you're really interested be prepared for a re-wire job eventually. I purchased mine in the fall of 2008 and did not get a chance to haul with it till spring 2009! First tow with it I realized my brake signal was intermitten! I ended up rewiring from the axles forward to a junction box!

Bought mine in Dec '09, but have only hauled three times with it. Will tow substantially more this month. I have a 20 + 5, dovetail, tandem wheel, 14,000 pounds. Have lock chain box, recessed wiring and enclosed wiring. Paint is baked on not spray painted. Towed good and brakes were excellent. I haul a 5500 4wd Mahindra with front end loader on mine with 72 inch Rhino brush hog. Trailer weighs 4,700 pounds and appears to be well built. Price was very reasonable. I think I may have a few pics of it somewheres...

My father has a 20+5' dovetail Pro-trak trailer, tandem duals, 20K gross weight. He got it back in 2000 and it has been a good trailer. It's well built structurally, but as mentioned before, the wiring and lights leave something to be desired.

I paid extra money for enclosed wiring on my trailer. Well worth it for the long run and makes it much easier to replace lights down the road as all lights have plugs.
