Has anyone ever mounted one of these to a BX24?
It looks like a shaft extender might be required or removal of the PTO shield.

Thanks,

That is what I am considering also. I am going to try it out on the aux ports first but at 3.7 GPM it may be too slow. I picked up a Farmhand pump really cheap. It is almost identical to the prince. I am still trying to determine the output of the pump. I am guessing it is in the 11 GPM range based on the size relative to the prince.

How is the pump and log splitter working out on the BX?

well i have the 16ton ramsplitter model and their was only a couple of hard logs that i had to take smaller bites at. the best part is it sips fuel, i dont know what a qord looks like but from what i did last year i already have a winters worth of wood (hopfully b/c i am going to be burning ALOT more this year) with the pto pump i have the bx rpm up at 1600 (it ratles to much anylower then that)

In any event, the BX24 PTO shield does not leave much room to work. I finally decided to remove my shield last year in order to facilitate installing new shear pins on the shaft of my 3P snowblower.

Sorry to keep asking so many questions but are you using the 11 or 21 GPM Prince Pump?

Tight fit is the word when putting a Prince pump on a BX24. My pump is actually an Farmhand pump which is just a tad smaller than the Prince.
For anyone interested here is what it looks like on a BX24.

I too am running a log splitter 4x24 cylinder. At idle it is very fast and the power has been great so far. I do not expect any problems.

BTW I first ran it on the tractor remotes and it was pretty slow. Plenty of power and usable but I had a pto pump....
