Price Check Pricing on used 2008 JD2520 with FEL/MMM/Frontier Tiller ~100 hrs.

Hi All,

I'm in the market for a CUT and will be heading out this weekend to look at a 2008 JD2520 with 200CX FEL, MMM (not sure on size), Frontier RT1150 Tiller and 4' Forks. ~ 100 hrs., pictures look clean and owner indicates tractor was garaged.

Asking price is $16250. It seems in line with what I have seen (maybe a bit high), but mostly what I have to compare with are dealer prices and obviously included implements don't always match exactly. I have also noted that prices seem to vary by as much as 1k - 2k depending on location. Oddly, NY seems to be the cheapest.

Anyway, does this seem a fair price?

I have looked at the specs I can find on the 2520 and am comfortable that they will meet my needs, however I'm unsure if the current specs are a close match with a 2008 model. Does JD make incremental changes without changing model number between model years?

Seems fair to me. I believe the current specs would be accurate for the '08 model also.

The specs will be the same throughout the production run for the 2520. They are nice tractors. My 4115 is the forerunner to the 2520. That price seems pretty good to me from what I have been seeing around here with similar attachments included, especially with that low hour amount.

Thanks, maybe I'll have a new to me tractor this weekend. I did read a few threads that indicated there was an issue with the 3 point hitch bars rubbing on tires and the hood hitting the gas tank. Now that I know that, I can look out for it
