When I was looking at cheap used tractors back in the spring, I considered a
B6000. I "think" it was a US version, since the decals were in English. I have "heard" that if the decals are in Japanese, it is a "grey market." I do not know if all that is true.
It had a 42' Sunshine (made by Modern) cutter. Apparently, this cutter is set-up to rotate either way, and has blades that cut in either direction:

I "think" this means that it is OK to run the gearbox on that particular series of cutter in either direction. If there is nothing special about the gearbox (another "don't know") then if the blades will fit other 42 inch cutters, could the other 42" cutters be adapted to reverse rotation by installing the Sunshine/Modern blades??
Anyway, I decided to keep looking for a tractor with a "normal" PTO, although if the
B6000 had been dirt-cheap I might have been really tempted.
Dirt cheap, to me, would have had to be under $2,000.00 with the cutter.
