Price Check Pricing on a new 5030HST

Greetings. I am looking to purchase the following (quoted prices included); I would love feedback as to whether the pricing is reasonable. The tractor will be purchased in central Texas.

- Kubota 5030 HST, 4WD, R-1's, and LA853 Quick Coupler Loader ($25,600)
- Rhino Heavy Duty 8' Shredder ($4,500)
- Armstrong 7' Box Blade ($595)
- Wells Ag Canopy ($350)

I also planned on having super seal added to the tires ($207) and a remote rear valve ($621) added. I's be interested in comments on the pricing and configuration. Thanks.javascript:void(0)

Just purchased this tractor and lots of attachments. Here is some numbers that I confirmed to be a good price with several weeks of research on TBN (Thanks again TBN)

L5030HST-R4 $ 20,308.00
LA853 Loader 4,742.00 w/ HD bucket and QA system
Canopy Top 375.00
1st Set Rear Remotes $ 700.00

Sounds like a good deal. You might be able to trim a little of the tractor/loader if you push a little.

Consider getting a second rear remote, snappy. That way you'll be set up for Tilt 'n Top down the road. As I recall, the second remote is cheaper than the first and much cheaper to add going in than later.

I let the dealer talk me DOWN to only one set of remotes. Now I have the 2nd and 3rd remotes being added this coming week. He's doing it for $ 978.00 installed and the 3rd remote will have a float valve for my top cylinder. This is almost the same price I was quoted to add them in the first place.

He was pushing me to one remote because he said I would never need two or three. He thinks TNT is not needed. I already purchased Top with my Freedom Hitches and thats the best thing I've done so far. I can see how handy Tilt will be when I start grading my roads and that means I need a 3rd. remote to run my chipper and seed drill so I don't have to remove TNT every time I use these attachments.

It's a lot easier to justify the cost in the whole package than it is to add it later. When your going in that deep anyway, what a little more to get it right.....

Lots of talk in other threads about safety and trouble hooking up 3PH attachments, think about the Freedom Hitches, I just converted everything to Freedom Hitch and it works sweet. Yes, the promo information is right, you can remove your box blade and install the landscape rake and never leave the seat, that's what I call safe & easy. Why not get the best of both worlds.
