Price Check Pricing for a loaded 2320

I am in the final stages of buying a 2320 with a ton of attachments. I am getting it with the iMatch system, and all rear-attached implements will be compatible with this (the additional cost for the bushings and links is anywhere between 35 to 120 per attachment).

Here are the prices I am getting. Can anyone comment on whether this is a good deal? Should I ask for a greater discount if getting everything?

Hi: I'm in New England and we don't get much of a discount up here. But here is my two cents. The FEL Seems ok but no bargain, same for the mower, and Rotary cutter. The Box blade is way too high. I got a 6' box blade (BB2072) for my 3320 and I think I paid less than $800. $955 for a 5' bb is way too much.

It never hurts to ask for a discount.

Thanks for the info, Orlo. Does anyone else have an opinion on the prices quoted? Would it be a good approach to ask to upgrade the mower to a 62D and go for the whole package at the quoted price?

John Deere has one of the better websites available @ www.JohnDeere.com, where you can configure a number of different tractors, lawnmowers, etc. - all at JD's published factory list price. Once configured you select from a number of local dealers - according to your tolerance for driving - and send the information configured to these various dealerships for competitive pricing.

I generally found I received a 10 - 12% discount from the listed prices - according to how much you were tentatively buying. Turnaround is normally takes 3 - 10 days, by return Email or phone/fax. Don't forget to check their current financing program, as this can save you substantial additional monies over time. You'll find that pricing also varies by region and number of manufacturers and dealers participating within your area. Good luck and happy hunting in your pricing quest.

I agree with orlo. Price on the tractor and FEL looks good. Backhoe - I simply don't know. The RC1048 looks slightly overpriced and the BB2060 looks considerably overpriced. Personally I would be inclined to buy the cutter and box blade from another maker like Woods or Landpride - I think you'll get better quality for the money. (FWIW, I own a Deere LX6 and Frontier RB2184 - quality on the LX6 is quite good, but the Frontier RC cutters aren't the same thing. Quality on the RB could be better.)

I got a price of $17,500 for the 2320/ 62d mid mower / 200cx fel / lx4 rotary cutter (slip clutch/laminated tire) / loaded R4 tires / and block heater... To the best of my knowledge it was about 13% of retail (it was not brokend down by piece). Retail pricing did vary on some items between dealers as well

Your pricing was 17750 (my pricing included the 62 vs 54 mower, and loaded tires, and block heater)

I purchased a 2320 w/200cx, ballast box, r4's, and an engine block heater for $12,900 in February of this year. Great tractor and I was happy with the price. Only 1 dealer would get to this price and the other 3 were not within $1000. I purchased in central Ohio. I received advice and help on this from another member from this area. Hope this helps.

I recently got my 2320 and paid 17,400 for it.

I'm not sure what it looks like broken down but this is what I got.
JD 2320
200CX
Land Pride 60" Box Scraper
JD 62D (go for the 62 instead of the 54 you won't regret it)
LX5 Rotary Cutter

Hope this helps. Either way call around and see what you can do. You won't be dissastified with the tractor though. I just came in from mowing and it continues to suprise me everytime I do something with it. The grass was real high and real wet but it went right through without a problem.

I made my deal, and the tractor is on order. Here is what I got:

* 62D MMM
* 46 Backhoe
* Frontier 5' Box Blade (w/ iMatch)
* Frontier 4' Rotary Cutter (w/ iMatch)
Total: $24K even

I got it from a local dealer with superb customer service. They are great people, come onsite for servicing, bring a loaner unit if the tractor needs repairs at the dealership, etc. Overall I think I did OK for the Northeast.

Now the agony of the wait...
