Price Check Pricing for 2210

I was surprised to hear that the 2210 went up a $1000 this winter. Dealer mentioned the price of steel increasing but I do not see other brands are rising by that much. At $12,900 with FEL, it is $900 more than the Kubota BX2230 and $1,400 more than the MF GC2300. Do these prices sound correct for New England? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just by your name, perhaps we met while I developed a 4.0 GPA in skiing. Anyway that's a different story. I'm also in the component business and material hikes are waaaay past ridiculous, and to the point where severe gouging is going on. That said, it's happening everywhere from our pumps to construction materials. In June of 2004, I paid the following (and in high-rent CT): 2210 = $9227. 210 FEL w/53" bucket, level indicator, and ballast box = $2163, 62C MMM = $1556. Your post doesn't indicate a MMM either way, so it's hard for me to compare pricing. Does this help?

I am also interested in a MMM. Leaning towards the 54" for increased Maneverability and lower risk of scalping. I was quoted $2000 for the 62". I really like the Deere but I also like the MF, which is $1,400 less. So if my math is correct, you bought your whole setup for what I am being quoted for just the tractor and loader. They must have started mixing in gold for the yellow paint. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I bought my 4010 just before the price rise about November. It was $13,600 with FEL and LX4. A 2210 was $300 more. The 4010 was dead-on in price to a B7510, which is about a 4110 equivalent, which was $2,000 more than a 4010.

I'd recommend the 62C as it has a better overlap. I measured the uncut circle for another poster and it is 36" lock to lock. So that's pretty maneuverable. Also by going to the bigger deck, it effectively moves the ROPS away from trees and allows easier edging etc. IMO the height of the ROPS is really the big maneuverability issue. I did consider a 4115 with the folding ROPS, but it was too similar in size to my old 755, and that was the reason I went with the 2210. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I paid 12,600 plus tax in nov. for mine with loader, 54in mmm,
53" bucket and loaded tires. The dealer delivered it 50 mi. no
charge. I had several dealers quote the setup, one was close
to 1000.00 more. Even if you have no intention of buying from a dealer 150 mi. away your local dealer doesn't have to
know that. 2210's with loaders and mowers are still being advertised in MI. for between 12,799 and 13,100 by a few
big dealerships. Maybe these are last years inventory.

I made a mark where the left edge of the deck was, turned the wheel all the way to the left and turned the tractor 180 degrees, and then measured where the left edge of the deck was now to where it had been. Think I explained that OK. For example, that means you could cut around a tree with a 3' dia circle of mulch around it. With the 54C deck it would of course be more (42"). /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
