Price Check pricing bx1500

hello all:
I've been doing a lot of reading on the site here about the
various tractors. Very informative site. Looking for some input on the price of a bx 1500. I got a quote of $10,200.00 (excluding tax) for a bx15 with a fel, grill guard, and a 48 deck also will deliver and go over unit. Any thoughts
on shopping around further or going for it? Thanks Bob

Your profile is blank...where in NJ are you located? If you have not already, talk with Greg at MidState Equipment in Titusville south of Lambertville. They did a great deal for me when I bought my BX-22 last fall. (Significantly better than my previous dealer offered)

That's the place, midstate and greg is the owner. Real nice guy. He does have a bx22 on the lot. I believe the price tag
said 15,500 w/o a mower. I'm in eastern monmouth county.
Town is rumson.

Hi Bob...before i decided on the bx2200, i had a price of $10,399 for bx1500 with fel, 54"mmm,4 position valve,block heater, wheel weights and a hook welded on loader. Hope this helps.....Kevin

That's about $1,000 less than it goes for at MB Tractor here in New England. I was just there yesterday and their "in store special" was listed at $11,295.

The BX-22 would be overkill if you don't need the hoe, but it's a wonderful machine if you do and small is what you want.

I have to tell you, I had to use Mid-State's service recently for a small problem with the FEL hydraulics. I called at 9a on a Monday morning and talked to Scott, the service manager...got a call back in a half hour that the service van would be at my place by 10:30a since he was in my area that day. The technician arrived "right on the dot" and not only quickly fixed the problem (a loose nut that I didn't know was there), but also did a complete lube job on the FEL, BH, PHD and MMM. Gratis, since it was my first service call. He was with me for over an hour and a half.

Considering I saved $2000 over my original dealer when I bought the machine from Mid-State with a better price on the tractor combined with a better trade on my BX-2200, I'm now totally convinced I made a good decision to buy from these folks. (And I have three K dealers within 10 miles of my house...)

Good luck on your decision and be sure to let us know what you end up with. One of the BX machines should be a great fit for you. Just don't over look the BX-1800 and BX-2200 as they have a little more capacity over the BX-1500 for only a bit of uplift in initial cost. And don't be afraid to tell Greg that you heard from a very satisfied customer.

Rumson, New Jersey, boy did that bring back memories. I was an auctioneer when I lived in New Jersey. I lived in Mt Holly but I traveled everday for about three years to Rumson while I was learning the auctioneer business I worked for B G Coates and Assoc. B G was a very popular aictioneer back in the 1970's. The Webb Brothers bought out his business when he finally quit.

Sure was fun connecting with someone from Rumson.
