Price Check Pricing and experiences with the ZD

Folks...

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a ZD326 and no question where I am buying it but need to know if I should get the S or P and what is a fair price...

I am looking at about 11K with taxes for the P and 10.5 for the S... Should I go with the S or is the P worth the extra...

If the difference is the deck - IMHO it's worth the extra $. The pro-series deck is very well made, and its additional height helps lift tall grass better. I always feel like the pain of the extra cash at purchase time will sting once - when I write the check. But the sting of not buying what I wished I would have lasts much longer - like every time I use it. Good luck.

I just bought a ZD326P. Your prices are in line with what I was being quoted. My deal included a trade so I don't know what I could have bought it for without a trade. Also, mine was a demo so that knocked some off too.

As far as the differences between the 'S' and the 'P' .... the most obvious difference is the run-flat front tires on the 'P'. I test drove both and each had the Pro-series deck. The dealer was not sure of the actual differences but did make some calls and came back with the 'P' having the heavier drive system which may explain why the 'S' has the same ground speed as the ZD321 and the 'P' the same as the ZD331. I did not get a chance to compare the drive systems side by side. I went for the 'P' since it made more sense to me that a $600 difference included a heavier drive system versus a gear reduction.
