I couldn't get them to match my cash price when I switched at the last minute to 0% loan, discount went from 15.5 to 12.87 and you had to buy Ktac at 1.3%. I didn't mind Ktac after I found what it covers. What have you seen?

There's lots of stories about whether the 0% makes a difference to the price. I always figured logically if they don't have to finance you can get a cash discount instead. But the story was the financing comes from Kubota, and costs the dealer nothing. On that logic there's no reason financing or not would make a difference to the price.

With tractors, cars, etc there are two kinds of low interest and rebate programs. Some are fully provided by the manufacturer and others require "dealer participation". Usually auto dealers are required to specify in the fine print if there is dealer participation but I haven't seen this on tractors. If the dealer is participating, yes, you should get an additional discount for cash, If not, it makes no difference to the dealer if you finance or pay cash.

The dealer showed me some sheets that detailed different discounts for specific models both with without financing, some of that can be found at the Kubota site under financing, things like extra discounts if you bought two accessories off a list, like fel and bucket etc. So then they would give me a quote and I would make counter offer and we would go back and forth over email and I ask for stuff like supplies for 500hrs and a wsm. The grand l 6060 had a bigger cash discount than the m7060 but I was way more impressed with. the m7060cab 12.

Inflation is ~~2%~~, so in terms of purchasing power you are even or ahead. You will be making each payment with less valuable dollars. In your fifth payment year you will be paying with dollars worth 8% less than in the first year, assuming 2% inflation continues.

You are fortunate your tractor order is in.

Kubota will impose price increases the first business day in 2019.

The final day for dealers to order equipment at 2018 prices was 12/20/2018.

I didn't know the cutoff date but my dealer told me a decision was needed and they ran the credit app the same day as the order as I had to do a one day unfreeze of my credit score. It all happen very quick I did online credit app, did unfreeze online, call the dealer and he said all done. Maybe 30 minutes or less. Now I wait, told him order the WSM now, ordered the two camera backup system, a messicks radio and Kubota steering knob, next will be wicked 66" grapple and toothbar.

I've bought a few (Over 20+) new Kubotas over the last 15 years from Steve Barlow. This has given me a lot of time in his office doing our deals and him handling other work requirements and some times just talking. I'm a very inquisitive fellow. I like to know all I can about lots of different things and best cash and best financed price is one of those subjects I have an interest in. Some times there is a instant "company rebate" for cash and some times over the years there has been no difference in price cash or financed. There are often times those buy two additional implements for cheap to near nothing on certain models. I feel fairly certain that it makes no/zero difference to the dealer whether a customer pays cash or finances a new Kubota tractor and there is no dealer participation in the finance side like is often times a part of new car/truck transactions. I did buying/lurking around at car/truck dealerships before buying Kubotas.:) I'm talking about new Kubotas not used Kubotas which are almost if not always owned by the dealer and not Kubota. There is special Kubota financing on used Kubota tractors bought thru a Kubota dealer but not 0% for sure.
I see lots of financing opinions/ideas and theories and often times theories disguised as facts here but the new Kubotas are almost always owned by Kubota and all dealers pay the same price for them and the dealer gets to make their own deal as to sell price and each dealer can utilize the Kubota financing program equally for whatever financing program is being offered at the time.
I bought a Kubota once or twice where Kubota released new "incentives" after I left the dealership and my price lowered from the original agreed to price to the new lower price when the paper work was completed a couple of days later. The dealer (Barlows) did not have to tell me, he could have manipulated the sale price and got the incentive and I would have never known the difference since I was getting it for the same agreed to bottom line. That's why I buy from Steve Barlow, I trust him.
Bottom line, there is sometimes an actual true 0% at Kubota that's totally determined by Kubota and sometimes it isn't if there is a "cash" rebates which come and go.Now there is also the dealer buy down (often used in car/truck dealing) which means a dealer can pre pay part of the interest out of his profit but most tractor dealers stay away from that but not always.

That jives with what my dealer showed me, there were different deals on the two I was looking at a Grand L 6060 and the M7060HSC12, the L had cash discount the M didn't, both had same discount for multiple implements . What I guess I didn't make clear was the L had more discounts than the M did. The discount amounts rates were quoted prices versus online builder prices. I did talk the dealer into supplies, tire upgrade and service manual but I didn't figure them into rates I listed. I was hoping for end of the year move it off the lot price but both models were not in inventory anywhere close buy, only a cabless L and a 8 speed ag tire m6060. There was a m7060HSC12 further away but the dealer wouldn't let It go. So Kubota does a good job running tight inventory. The Grand L would be months to get while the M7060 only weeks. Plus they wouldn't lock down the price of the L or 0%. So I guess Kubota is doing well
