Price to haul a backhoe?

I am looking at a backhoe in N.C and would have to be hauled to Cols. Oh. I was wondering if any of you fellows had to pay to have a backhoe hauled that far (400-500 Mi). and what would I expect to pay. est weight 20,000

I see you are in Newark.
Here is how I came to be in Ohio.
1915 My dad was born in Newark.
1918 at the age of three he and his parents moved fron newark Oh.to Marietta,Oh. where I was born in 1940.

July 2009 I paid $4 a loaded mile to move a 16,000 pound hoe about 400 miles here in New Mexico.
Tried U-Ship for moving a loaded 40' trailer 800 miles, never got a reply from any of their members. Hired a local for $3,000. Ouch.........

Paid $3,000 to have a 20K machine shipped from CA to PA, a little over 3,000 miles. You do the math. :laughing:
