Thinking of buying 5055e with 553 FEL. Local dealer quoted 28500 for unit, has 9f/3r sync shuttle trans. Is that a good price? Found used one with 198 hours and 10 months remaining warranty for 24900. What do you think?

That is right in line with what I am paying for a 5045e with the same loader plus a six foot cutter. The extra 10hp runs about $1500.comes down to your add ins and setup charges

Sounds good. Someone on another thread cited the capacity of the front tires (9.5 x 24) as 1600 lbs rated load? If the Machine weighs 5000 lbs (more with FEL) that doesn't leave much weight for lifting a load in FEL? I expect the front tire rating has to be more like 2500 lbs. any thoughts?
