The
B2150 is in-between the current
B2410 and
B2710 models. Both the
B2150 and
B2410 are 24 hp, but the
B2150 has a 4 cylinder engine and the
B2410 has a 3 cylinder engine.
If I remember correctly, when I saw both B2400s (predecessor to
B2410) and B2150s on the lot, the
B2150 was about $500 more than the
B2400, and the older body style
B2150 was out-selling the newer flat-decked
B2400 because of the extra cylinder in the engine and the
B2150 was perceived as more heavy-duty.
I've had my B2150HSD with FEL for a while now, and think it is a really nice tractor. $10,000 seems like a pretty good price if it is in good shape.
If the tractor does not come with operator's manuals, be careful when you go to purchase them. The
B2150 had two different FELs available; the LA 350 and the LA 350A (on one the joystick controls stayed with the tractor when the FEL was removed and on the other the joystick stick stayed with the FEL). Probably not a big deal, but I got the wrong one... I'll regret it if I ever decide to try and remove the FEL using the operator manual instructions...
