Price on a Kubota L3540

Was wondering if anyone out there could say if this is a good price for a Kubota L3540 HST. It has a loader, cab with all the bells and whistles and a blower with 4 rear remotes with 180 hours use on it. It's a 2012 and he's asking 30.000.00. He tells me he paid 40 thousand for it last year. It was a left-over model. I am upgrading the current machine I have because I find it's too small. Any input would be appreciated.

Remember he is up in Canada, and things are priced somewhat higher in Canada.

It does include a blower and has less hours than those on tractor house the price is probably in the ball park.

I did consider trading in the Kioti CK 20 I have but it's only 10 months old and what they offered me was a bit low in my opinion. I have a 2013 CK 20 HST, cab, loader, blower and grader blade and I paid over twenty six thousand for that last June. They offered me nineteen thousand for it only ten months later and less than seventy hours on it. I think that's too much of a loss. The Kubota dealer wasn't even interested in taking a trade since he doesn't like Kioti for some reason. The CK 20 is a great little tractor but it's too small for my needs and that tractor should have a mid range instead of only having two ranges. After the winter we had this year, a tank would have been too small. Can not ever remember seeing this much snow. Even at this time of year, there is still over five feet of snow in the fields and the snow banks are over ten feet high. I thought the price seemed a bit high on the Kubota and will have to give that some more thought. I was thinking twenty eight thousand would be more in the ball park. Thanks for the reply....

There is one on craigslist here set up the same and that one is asking 36,000 U.S.

The L3540 is the last year with Tier 3 emissions controls, which many would prefer to L3560 with more complex Tier 4 emissions controls. The Tier 4 tractors are quite a bit more expensive.

This L3540 is optioned really well. I cannot address tractor values in Cananda, I know tractor prices in Canada are considerably higher than US prices.

The Kubota Grand L's are superior tractors.
