Price Check price on 3X HP jinmas?

I was just browsing some tractor dealer sites.. and noticed one place local to me.. a MF dealer ( selss cub/farmtrac, and bushhog stuff too ). is selling new farmtrac FT-35 tractors for 9999.00

That seems awfully low compaired to a chineese tractor of similar hp..

Any comments?

The Farmtrac 35 is very close to a Ford 2000, made in india, it is a fine tractor, I have one in stock. It is just a basic 2wd utility tractor, 8x2 gear trans, no power steering (on that model, 535 has PS for about $1,000 more. It is well put together, and backed by a 3 year powertrain warranty. As far as an alternative to Chinese, it is still a bit higher in price, few Chinese are available in 2wd so direct comparison is a bit hard to do.

for about the same money, you can get a KAMA 554 50HP or for a little less, the KM454 45HP, both are 4wd, Power steering, canopy, weights, etc. but less the 3 year warranty (12 month parts only on most KAMAs unless sold close to a dealer). The Farmtrac has better fit and finish.

The Farmtrac plant (Escorts) made Ford tractors for years before Ford sold out of their tractor business, since CNH has changed all the models, mostly to Fiat or SHibaru, I think the Farmtrac is the closest thing to a new Ford tractor available today.

Northern's so-called "free shipping" is what bumps their prices above those of brick and mortar dealerships.
