Why do you want to upgrade? What do you think a 2360 can do that your tractor cannot? Thats a lot of money, about $3000 more than just buying a slightly lower capacity loader for your tractor.

Since I trade alot I've found that you will pay about $2000 more to trade same model to one year newer same model, not much difference to 2 or 3 year newer. First year takes the biggest hit. Mostly because of 0% interest for new equipment for buyers. Why buy a used tractor and pay more monthly for used vs new?
You can also figure the price difference between models to add to the equation. If you add any new/different options to new tractor then add that. I'm working on trading my 1 year old 35 hours BX2350 MMM for a new BX2660 MMM FEL. My nephew needed and wanted a tractor. I took him to Barlows where he bought a new BX2360 because he wanted to finance it so it was a better deal for him to buy new than to buy my tractor. I also disclosed the issue with the 50's and let him try my BX on his yard which sold him on the BX2360 Kubota. Call Barlows and ask them how they will trade.
My neighbor had a 2 year old BX18?? MMM and traded it 2 years ago with Barlows for a BX2350 MMM FEL. Course he also likes trading. He and I have now worked out a program where I sell him something I don't need and he don't need like a tiller and then I buy it back from him a year later for the same price. This way we can keep "trading" and only lose the availability of our money for one year but coming up with something new.:) I've traded cars over 110 times in 44 years and bought 8 Kubotas from Barlows and working on 9th so I understand trading. I've heard there are people that keep cars till they fall apart and tractors till they can't get parts for them. I'm not one of those people.:D So when people ask you "why" just look at them like one of you are crazy and your not sure which one it is.:rolleyes:

FWIW, my B7510 didn't lose anything over this last year as far as trade value from last year, but I figured next year it would be lower, so I traded it finally for a BX2660. Values seem to hold well, but it's the first year or two that really bite. I think for the year and hours, $3,000 is a fair assessment. However, with 0%, that's not a real attractive price for someone who has to finance with conventional terms on a used tractor, AND the dealer will mark-up your trade anyway lessening the difference between new and used.
