Recently I saw a post claiming that the GC2310TLB was selling for about $14,700... somewhere in the US. Here in western Massachusetts I got a quote for $16,500. (Another $2K for a 54" MMM.) Anyone care to comment? Either that's a big mark-up or I'm misinformed about competitive prices. Either way, I'd like to know so I can negotiate.

Thanks!

While I'm writing I'll also mention that the additional cost of the backhoe seems to vary dramatically between vendors. I was quoted $11,600 / $16,300 for the Kubota (BX2230 without / BX24 with). For MF it was $14,400 / $16,500. A $3000 difference in backhoe price. I'm somewhat ambivalent about the backhoe -- not sure I'll use it enough, so I was leaning towards the BX on price. But I'm short and the MF was the only SCUT where I could sit comfortably back in the seat. Ergonomics seems really important, so I figure I'll go for the MF. But at that premium, I might as well get the backhoe! Kaching!

It's been my experience that BH are about $1000.00 per digging ft. I found a Taylor-way for half that. Please note the that I had to build my subframe, it comes as a 3pt setup and pto.
I'm very happy with the power and feel of the unit.

I just bought my 2310 TLB last week and I paid right at $15k for it "Out the Door" which included some minor AGCO paperwork fees, a state filing fee and only 1.5% sales tax.

I had also priced the Kubota BX24 from two different dealers and the best price was about $14,700 OTD.

The John Deere 2305 TLB was quoted at $16,900 OTD.

I was also a little concerned that I wouldn't use the BH enough either to justify the costs, but that concern has already passed after owning it for only a week. I use the BH ALOT more than I even imagined and I've already come up with numerous other "projects" to use the BH for.

I bought my GC2310TBL a little over a month ago. I paid $14,200 and an additional $1,600 for a 60"mmm. This was out the door no taxes. (out of state) This was a 2006 unit that the dealer had recieved in Sept 06. I inquired about a 2007 model and was told it would be aprox 400-500 more.

Abele Tractor in Albany sure treated me well - and continues to do so. They sell and deliver all over the northeast.
