Hey All,

Continuing on my quest to purchase a CUT and, thanks to TBN, I'm having a great time! Below is my first quote for a TC40D. So far I really like this dealer. It's a large Ag dealer and has everything in stock, and is about 40 miles away:

TC40D / Arm Rest Kit / Grille Guard
16LA Front Loader
72" Bucket with Quick Attach
Bolt-on Toothbar
Bobcat Pallet Forks
Two Remote SCVs
Total is $23500.00

The approximate list (that I can figure, but not sure about the tires and amount for pallet forks) for the above is around $28700 so it's in the ballpark of an 18% discount.

Also quoted the following implements:
Landpride 72" Tiller $2200.00
Landpride 84" Box Blade $850.00
Rhino SE6 6' Cutter $1200.00

Got TC40D used with 31hours from a NH/Kubota dealer for $20K+tax including:
16LA with QA Bucket & Forks
Single rear remote
Filled rears, rear worklight
Toothbar, 3 bucket hooks
50hour service
Complete set of spare filters
Service & parts manuals
Grill guard
Delivered to my door

Got used 72" Landpride finish mower, used 72" box scraper, and used 72" plug aeroater for $1200 more.

With my used vs your new, I don't know if it sounds a little high to me or not. However, I don't know the market conditions in MO. Plus, a good local dealer is worth some extra $.

PS I love my TC40D, but I went into this deal knowing all the issues with the big Boomers (thanks to all the info on TBN). Make sure you go it with your eyes open like I did and you will be infinitely satisfied.

Yeah, I think you got a great deal on that TC40D with only 31 hours! Glad to hear that you're very satisfied.

I've gone through the posts and researched the "issues" on the NH tractors so I know about most of them. I imagine I could get the price down to 23K without a problem but I'm waiting on prices for an L4330 from a couple of orange dealers. Got to have everything lined up before I pull the trigger...

U might check price on Midwest stuff, for the price difference a field trip over to pick them up could save thousands$$$.
They are southest of St.Louis.

Tom, I think your dealer is at least $1,000 high on that quote. Even if it was a TC45D, I'd be asking him to come down. I think the fact that you are considering more implements makes your position even better for negotiation. I'd hold out to $22,000 on the tractor. The price you quoted is more in-line with a supersteer model, but even a little high for that to my way of thinking. Good luck with your deal.
