Price Check Price check on TC30?

I got a quote from dealer in central Alabama of $11, 800 for a new TC30, 4WD, manual trans. I've seen pricing discussions here, but they always involve a FEL. This one is w/o FEL. Are all TC30's 4WD? If not, how much less would a 2WD model be? Lastly, is a TC23DA cheaper than a TC30? I've heard conflicting reports on that one. 30 HP is more than I need to bush-hog 5-6 acres and finish mow a couple more.

The TC30 is a tractor built to compete. Nice tractor will do anything the 30 hp tractors will do. No bells no whistles. And I beleive you can get it in 2WD but I sure would think twice about 2WD. The TC23 is built for comfort and has all the bells and whistles on it. The price between the two you may find fairly close. The loader for the TC30 should run around $2500-3000.00. I paid $2250 for my 7308 loader but have seen higher prices. The 23 will bush hog 5-6 acres. However, the 30 will allow you to go up to a 5ft where the 23 may only allow you a 4 ft bushhog. It all boils down to what comfort level you like in a tractor and how fast do you want to get the mowing done as the 23 will take a longer time. But then you have a more comfortable rig with the 23.

I have a TC30 new in april 2004. $15000 out the door with 4x4, hydro, r4's and 7308 loader. Love everything about it. had a 21 HP 1320 and WOW!!! what a differance. I use a 5' brush hog and 6" BB and you don't even know their attached the loader is awesome. I'd rather have a good working tractor than a cup holder for the same money.

My NH dealer quoted me 11,900 for a TC30 4wd. He didnt specify gear, and as I didnt specify for hydro I presume it is gear. I am always pestering him for prices, and we often dont get into details and final dollars till I have decided what I am up to, which running a farm and business that use the tractor things are always dynamic.

So it seems that is about the price.

I just need another tractor to pull things so I havent priced anything else out for this machine. Stopped by and looked at it today. Sure would be nice to have one that size. (compared to my 55)
