Just curious if you all can give me your opinion on the price of an L3130 a dealer is giving me. I've already given a thousand down payment...I hope that I'm not getting hosed. I have however gotten similar comps for my area and they are nearly dead on. I see other posts on here and guys are getting much better prices than what I've been seeing. Nevertheless, here goes:

L3130HST
513FEL w/66" bucket (no QA)
1 Hydraulic rear remote
1 72" Land Pride Landscape rake.

$20,120

Also, I plan to put a backhoe on later. I've heard that I must have the 723 FEL to do this...is this true? Is this true for the Kubota brand backhoe or can I put on a Woods or Befco with the 513 FEL? If I can save the ~$800 dollars I don't really need the extra capacity of the 723 with what I do.

Thanks for your help. BTW Great site!!!!

I bought my 3130 GST with 723 loader and oversize Aggs for $18,200 w/o tax out the door last year. HST would have added about a grand and a ls Rake probably 550.....That was last June. Great tractor. So far no problems and hopefully none in the future. Good luck on your purchase.

A little over a year ago I paid $18,500 (without tax) for a 3130 GST, standard Ag tires, LA513 loader with QA, and a 7' rear blade. Like johnk said, HST would have added another grand to that.

As far as adding a backhoe, you are not required to have the 723 loader. Kubota makes two sizes of backhoe that fit the 3130. The smaller one is compatible with the LA513 loader, and the larger one requires the 723 loader. I'm assuming this is because the 723 loader has a beefier subframe than the 513 loader.

However, if you look at other manufacturer's backhoes, such as woods or bush hog, any size backhoe (that is suitable for your tractor) is compatible with whatever loader you have. So don't worry, if you go with the LA513 loader, you still have plenty of backhoe options.

Whatever loader you decide on, I would strongly recommend upgrading it to QA (QuickAttach). You won't believe how handy it is versus pin mounted loader attachments.

Paid $17.5 for an L3130 HST w/723 FEL last fall in New York. Very happy with our purchase.

thanks to those of you who took time to share your pricing. I am waiting patiently for Friday morning to get here. That is when I drive down to the dealer and get my brand spanking new Kubota L3130. I've waited a very long time for this moment and now its less than two days away. I had buyers remorse when I got my B7800 because while it had plenty of power it lacked in size for what I wanted to do. I learned AFTER I bought the B7800 that for just a few thousand more I could've had the L3130. I kept the B7800 for almost four years and during that time I got a whole lot of projects done and made a whole lot of money. After four years and almost 200 hours I sold the tractor for only 1200 less than what I paid. The resale value is phenomenal and I know I'm getting a good product by purchasing a kubota. I would like to buy from the Co that I work for but they're too expensive...even with my corporate discount they're more than Kubota.

Alright, here are the pictures of the big day. I arrived at the dealership which is 41 miles from my home at 7:00am on Friday morn. Since the store didn't open for another half hour I took a good long look at the tractor before signing the papers. Made sure everything was as discussed and put together correctly.

I only got to put about 1.5 hr on her because of a previous commitment...I will definitely have her out today mulching the yard w/my wife and kids.

I have two concerns.
1. The 66" bucket
2. I know its early yet but I am sensing a lack of power

I already called the dealer and am trading the pin on 66" bucket for QA 72". I didn't like the fact that I couldn't see the end of the bucket that well without having to strain a little. Plus the 66" was lacking several inches on each side from covering the rear tires.

It may be too soon to make this judgement but I noticed that the engine bogs down pretty quick. Does anyone know if this engine's HP comes to life after break in? Are you seeing an RPM "sweet spot" that seems to give good overall torque for running around the yard? I wasn't going to max out engine RPM on a new machine. I was running about 17-18k RPM. Could be you see the torque rise at 21 or 22...I don't know.

You will see that the L3130 and Land Pride L1572 was quite a load for my 16' PJ trailer. However, the 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado and PJ did well on the trip home. This is certainly the biggest load I've had for truck and trailer. Kind of fun seeing what she'll do.

Tried to download more than just the two pics but they're over 1M...does anyone know how to reduce???????

Thanks again for your help.

Congratulations....
L3130 is a nice machine. It is what I had been renting the last few years before I bought my 'bota..

Nice looking rig too.
