Apparently the free loader sale is still on. How does this sound:

$15,995 cash for a CK35, hydro, FEL, R1's.

That was about the best quote I got when I was looking at CK35's a couple of months back.

That's a good price, see if they will load the tires for you and it will really be a good deal.

I placed the order today! I put down a deposit and the dealer called back later saying he had confirmation from back east. I'm paying extra for a set of rear hydraulics and a front tooth bar.

I went with a dealer 50 miles away whose main business is selling chain saws. I liked the dealer 10 miles away and he has been in business for 11 years. I told the local guy I was only a month away from purchasing but for price he just handed me a prepared price list sheet and said the price was $18,200 (w/o toothbar and hydraulics).

I told him about the other offer and he just said, "No, he can't get you a free loader on the West Coast". I didn't mind paying up to $500 for good dealer relations but $2200 seemed a little steep.

If I'm getting the tractor of my dreams why do I have this sick feeling in my stomach?

Ten minutes after you start the new tractor I'll bet it'll go away.:)

That sick feeling is called buyer remorse, it's normal and will quickly pass as soon as you hop up on that new beauty and realize how much of nice tractor you have.

Welcome to the pack!

Your not alone with that problem. Anytime that I spend a large amount of $$$$, I am sick to my stomach. The bigger the amount, the longer that I feel sick. One of the reasons that I don't like making big purchases.

That is pretty close to what I paid for my CK35 at the end of June. It has been a great little tractor.

Half your luck, it takes $1.14 of our Australian dollars to $1.00 US so a CK35 at $15999 there should be $18310 here in Australia,so why are they $26395 for the manual and $27495 for the HST and that's a special sale price, then add a further $1600 dealers fee and we only get a 2 year warranty total where I believe US get 2 years bumper to bumper and another 2 years engine/trans so imagine the sick feeling us Ozzies get when we make the decision:( I haven't as yet but the KL30 at $21995 [plus $1600 dealers fee] is about the best deal around in my budget range. I'd like a backhoe as well but they start at $7500 for the Chinese imports and around $10 000 for the better made Korean ones. I think a holiday to the USA with a shipping container as a suitcase is needed, let's see, a CK 35 or maybe even a 45, Backhoe, stickrake, boxscraper, postdriver, yep that should do it, hmmmm maybe I'd better travel with 2 shipping containers just in case I see something else like your $6500 honda ATV's that are $12000 here,
Arr yes Australia the land of the ripped off
