I just looked at a 2000 model 4600 4x4 HST with a 460 loader on it this evening. It has 650 hours on it. It comes with a 5' finish mower, 6' bush hog and 6' box blade. He currently has it priced at $15,500. I am guessing the three attachments could easily cost 2k or more to buy so that brings the tractor cost to around $13,500 or so. The hood is cracked some and the instrument panel is fogged up around the tack. It has a sun shade attached the ROPS that has been run into a tree and fixed up decent and the loader bucket is bent in the middle at the top from trying to pick up something too heavy with the hook that is welded on the bucket. Just looks like a used 11 year old tractor to me.
I think it is priced fair but wanted to get others opinions. This is the biggest tractor I have found for the money. I can only find low 30 HP non-economy machines with the same amount of hours with no attachments for around $14,000.
I am going to bring the wife with me to look at it Saturday to see what she thinks about it and see if she is comfortable on it. I just want to ease my mind and make sure I am making a good purchase.
