Went to our local dealer and this is what he gave me
4510 18,900
4610 19,900
FEL 2,800 add $100 for heady duty bucket
both was mfwd and powerreverser
5105 $20,450 mfwd and add $3450 for bucket and $190 heavy bucket
I have a Ford 4400 2wd no loader. I mow 4 acres and have 600 ft. of driveway to maintain.
Also bring in wood from our woodburner stove. We have 20 acres all together. I was thinking the bigger tractor for durance and
lifetime useage as i would keep this for the rest of my time(so far i think) and it wouldn't need to be rebuit for a long time.
But the smaller tractor is nice for being around the house. My next door nieghbor has a 5220 mfwd,so if i need something
big i can get his tractor to use
What do you think i should do?
I would get rid of the 4400 for the new tractor

It sounds like you have the need at times for the bigger tractors (eg, JD 5220), but you like the utilitarian and compact functionality of the compact units. Why not settle for something in between and go with the 4710....largest compact in JD's 4x10 series line? It packs a few more HP than the 4610, has greater engine torque, and won't break your pocket book. Other than this, the prices you quote on the models you cite sound reasonable.
