Well, first week home and a front tire came off the bead and the 4WD won't stay engaged. Decided to have the local dealership pick her up to diagnose and repair the 4WD issue. I suspect that is beyond my current level of wrenching skills not to mention my shop is still a pile of boxes and tools. Having the front tires tubed and rears loaded with Rimguard while they have it in the shop as well as servicing per hours. Hopefully she comes home in better shape and doesn't destroy my savings on the deal. Caveat emptor! Doesn't sound like this is a common issue with the 4WD but for those of you shopping for a used machine, definitely drive around for a while in 4WD in all ranges to make sure it stays where you want it. I was able to get the trash to the road with her and do a little plowing (holding the 4WD lever). The horse stall mat rubber squeegee trick is magic! That mod needs an official name or acronym. Had it cut and installed in an hour or so. Would have taken half as long with a buddy to hold it together. When I replace it I'll use a pair of extra long bolts or pins to hold the pieces together until I can get the bolts on.
