Kubota B2920
I'm a frequent viewer and very occasional poster, but I always value the collective wisdom available here. I've been pondering a step up from my current BX25 for some time, and now have my eye on a 2009 B2620 with FEL, BH and 60 inch MMM, with just under 150 hours on the meter. I haven't visited the machine yet, so I have no particulars on condition, but the low hours number is encouraging. What I can't really get a good handle on, however, is how much it ought to be worth. I've checked Tractorhouse and Machinefinder, but found nothing that I'd consider sufficiently comparable. If anyone can provide thoughts on what would qualify as a "good" price, I'd be much obliged.

Thanks.

What is on Tractorhouse (though that's asking price not selling) seems $15K for the tractor/fel/mower then add $4-5K for the BH, so a good price would be $18-19K if it was stored inside and in nice shape.

I think new 2920 TLB without the mower deck was around $23K.

Brand new, I bought a B2620 with FEL and MMM @ $17,400 in 2012; but no BH. At 150 hours and decent shape you may be getting a deal of a lifetime, if you can figure the proper price. Hope this helps. Not unless the machine was wrecked, it might nearly be good as new even if the oil/maintenance had never been done.

I agree that 18 - 19 K would be good.

I bought a used but never really used BH65 for 4600 but it did not include the reversible seat set up which is pricey from Kubota. Then I spent about 200 to plumb it in.

I bought my B2620 with fel and 60 inch mmm
for 12k with 115 hours but that was an exceptional deal. Had to drive about 300 mile round trip to get it.

Oh and I drove from michigan to Tennessee to get the BH.

It's a great little worker.

I bought a '10 2920 with BH and FEL a couple years ago in great shape for 19,900. I'd think 18 - 19k would be the proper range and is what I've seen that vintage in good condition going for around here. I'd guess if you're under 18 its a very good deal. Great machine and barely broken in at 150 hours!

I traded my B2620 FEL BH with 75 hours 50 hour service done and stored inside, it's like new. Traded with Barlows for a new BX25D. He was asking $18000 for it and I think he still has it. I have pics from day one in his shop assembling the BH frame and other photos, if you make a deal with him and want them.
I'd owned a BX25 before and just prefer the BX size over the B size. I've owned several :D of the Bs, BXs and one L.
Call Barlows and he'll take your BX in on trade.

JT, did yours have a mower?

No mower but the BH is about 3 times the price of the mowing deck. I've owned belly mowers and rear finish mowers before buying the Kubota F mowers. I prefer the rear finish rear discharge mowing deck, which is cheaper than a belly mowing deck, over the belly mowing deck, myself. Easier to maintain and hook up and remove and as mentioned less expensive but does make package longer to deal with but still preferred rear deck.:D

Thanks to all who've replied so far. The numbers you all have suggested are in line with what I was thinking/hoping, which is helpful. It turns out this deal -- if it happens at all -- will be a relatively slow-motion affair due to distance and scheduling obstacles. But I'll be sure to update my post (with requisite photos) if and when it goes through. Thanks again.

Also, to John Thomas: Thanks for the suggestion on your recent trade. It does sound like a nice package, and I have no doubt the machine was very well cared for while in your possession. That said, I'm pretty set on having a MMM. I always have, I think they're more suited to my mowing needs, and they're easier for me to store with my facilities.

I bought my b2920 FEL, BH, MMM 60" mower for 27,000 new out the door a little over a year ago. You guys have gotten good deals on your used stuff!
