JD 4410
I have been looking for one of these for my 35HP JD 4410. I found one near me. They want $700.

Is this a fair price?

Seems like it is a good size for my tractor. Any reason I should be worried because it is 9'?

Any idea what this size unit weighs? Would I be able to convert it to a 3Pt Hitch for transport and flexibility?

I paid $600 for this 10-ft wide cultipacker about 9 years ago. Pulled it with my 2008 Mahindra 5525.

Your tractor's 3pt can handle 2200 lb so it should be able to lift that cultipacker.

Good luck

Nice cultipacker, why not use it as is?

9 foot Brillion should weigh in the 1200# range. You would have no problem pulling it. $700 is fair. Those things are expensive.

A "crow foot" cultipacker will bring $100.00 per foot... A non-crow foot will bring less $....so if it's nice, $700.00 is in the ball park.

Crow foots work much better, so they sell better and bring more money at a sale...

Why is a crow foot better? I have sandy soil and wonder if a crow foot would adequately pack after being fluffed up by a disc or tiller.

I probably would but also want the ease of transport and ability to get into tighter areas.

It would be dead easy to mount a 3pt setup to that. Could easily un-bolt the current hitch & use either 3pt or pull.

Personally I'd throw a 3pt on it for ease of transport & maneuvering.
